Mission Statement

Biomass Harvesters of America’s (BHA) mission is to foster the harvesting of biomass crops in order to provide a new and alternative revenue stream of income to family farmers; to build relationships between custom harvesters and their clients, along with the vendors who support the industry; to strengthen the profitability of custom biomass harvesting; to promote the use of renewable biomass in consumable products and industries in North America; to provide future generations a sustainable income on the family farm.

Shawn Shoemaker

Interim President

Shawn is a third generation Wheat, Corn, and Alfalfa producer from Potter, NE. Shawn graduated from Chadron State in 1993 with a degree in Agribusiness. He has been involved in biomass harvests at Poet, Dupont, and Pellettech.

Executive Director

Justin is the director for the organization\'s membership, accounting, social media, trade shows and general office questions. Justin is National sales manager at Stinger Inc, Burrton,KS and has been involved in a number of Biomass projects since 1999
